VIP Experience

What’s included in my VIP Experience?

Your VIP Experience includes:

  • Express entry into the theatre
  • Access to the VIP room pre-show and during intermission
  • Reserved, pod-based seating for groups of two
  • A welcome glass of Prosecco. Non-alcoholic alternatives available by request.
  • Access to private restrooms
  • A dedicated server and bar

Please Note: Tickets for the VIP Room Experience DO NOT include tickets for Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway. You must have tickets for the show on the date and time of your VIP Room Experience to enter the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. VIP Room Experience tickets are non-transferrable. How many VIP Room tickets do I need to purchase?

Tickets for the VIP Room Experience must be purchased in pods of 2. If there are more than two people in your party, be sure to purchase more than one pod.

Do I need to have tickets to Moulin Rouge! The Musical to enter the VIP Room?

Yes. Please verify that your tickets for the VIP Room Experience match the date and time of your tickets for Moulin Rouge! The Musical. If you do not have tickets for Moulin Rouge! The Musical, you can purchase them on SeatGeek here.

Can I order additional drinks and snacks?

Yes. The VIP Room offers specialty cocktails and an array of top shelf spirits, beer, and snacks available for purchase.

Can I access the VIP Room from the Can Can! seating area?

No. Those in the Can Can! area will not have time to access the VIP Room during intermission, so we do not recommend purchasing the VIP Room Experience if you are seated in that section. If you’d like to exchange your Can Can! seats for locations with access to the VIP room, please email [email protected] and we will be happy to reseat you.

What if my event isn’t on SeatGeek yet?

The VIP Room Experience will likely be available for all performances of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. If you don’t see your event on SeatGeek, check back closer to your performance.

VIP Room Access

What time does the VIP Room open?

The VIP Room opens one hour before curtain. We suggest arriving 45-60 minutes before curtain.

Is the VIP Room wheelchair accessible?

The VIP Room is located up 20 steps on the mezzanine level and is not wheelchair accessible.

How do I find the VIP Room?

When you arrive at the theatre, head to the front of the line and tell a member of our staff that you’ve purchase access to the VIP Room. Any member of our team would be happy to direct you to the VIP Room. Enter the Orchestra level through the first set of doors on your right. Take another right to find the staircase that will lead you to the VIP Room, located on the mezzanine level.

Is there a coat check in the VIP Room?

Due to space limitations, coat check is located in the basement level. Our VIP host will be happy to check your coat for you once the show starts, but remember it will only be available for pick up after the show from the basement level coat check. You are also welcome to leave your belongings in the VIP Room during Act I, but will be asked to take them with you after intermission.

COVID-19 Protocols

Do I need to be vaccinated to enter the VIP Room?

The same vaccination policy for the Al Hirschfeld Theatre applies to the VIP Room. As of May 1, 2022, there is no requirement for ticket holders to be vaccinated.

Can Can! Seating is subject to additional policies and protocols due to its close proximity to the stage and performers. More details here.

Do I need to wear a mask in the VIP Room?

All VIP ticket holders through at least May 31, 2022 must properly wear a mask at all times except while seated at their assigned VIP table. All masks must completely cover the nose and mouth, and must comply with the CDC guidelines for acceptable face coverings. Policies for performances starting June 1 will be announced soon.

Is VIP Room seating socially distant?

VIP Room seating is sold exclusively in pods of 2. Each pod will have an assigned table. While some tables and chairs have been removed from the room to give more space between parties, seating in the VIP Room is not 6-foot socially distant. If your party has purchased more than one pod, we will seat them closer together whenever possible.
